All in all when the weather is nice and warm the best chance of seeing me is out on the bike pushing the pedals up a hill or flying down hill around 55 MPH!!!!
Cycling or road biking as many people call, has become my favorite way of training. Being able to ride on any road is very nice and being able to cover more ground quicker than running is good too. Biking is nice because it is low impact on the body and it is also a great way of getting a low heart rate easy without dropping the pace too much!!! Today we had a Steady state session. So we had three 20 minute paced rides around 170 beats per minute. The goal for this type of workout is to keep it at a constant speed, and not to push it too hard. The difference between a steady state workout and a interval is obviously the distance but also the speed and heart rate. Pretty much all morning the highest I got was about 175 BPM and in a Interval ill get up to about 192-195 BPM.
